EUSME publishes results of a Training Needs Analysis

Results of a Training Needs Analysis (TNA) published in early October by the EUSME project (SME Support through MTI). This report represents the assessment of the situation of Kosovo Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs) in respect to their training and learning needs, in terms of professional skills and business knowledge areas, as well as their perception of the priorities and methodologies to address these needs. The TNA is the first to be undertaken Kosovo-wide and included a sample of 109 enterprises from different sectors and in various stages of development. A new year - new activities

24 January 2012 - In a close cooperation with the SME Support Agency of the Ministry of Trade and Industry our project is now moving ahead into new activities. In November-December last year we successfully finalized the Small Business Days with conferences all over Kosovo. Small Business Days involved regional stakeholders, and the intention of creating an increased focus on the SME Sector in Kosovo was met. We are now starting the preparations for Small Business Days 2012 and invite all stakeholders with an interest in SME development to attend this event.

In January 2012 we have launched the Kosovo Competitiveness Program, which will set focus on the needs of the SME Sector. SMEs all over have to improve their performance in order to meet the demands of the market, and our program is offering a Training Needs Assessment for a number of companies. This program will also involve selected Business Associations.
